There’s nothing better in September than apple picking.
There’s no better place to live than New York City. Every week, there’s another huge event going on. Last week, Lincoln Center was filled with models, fashion bloggers, photographers, and of course the occasional celebrity. Lucky enough to receive an invitation to the Nanette Lepore show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, I got to experience the atmosphere firsthand!
With Natalie Morales and Stanley Tucci among the celebrities sitting front row, and the Brazilian Girls playing mellow tunes, The Stage was buzzing with excitement. Bright pastels, fun fabrics, and funky prints filled Nanette’s Spring 2013 collection. The pairing of bold prints with more sophisticated and neutral patterns was all over Nanette’s runway, and quite honestly, I’m in love. My favorite look was a black and white checkered skirt, shown with a bold and bright top. Nanette’s designs would look great on nearly any body type, and though I’m usually an earth-tones kind of girl, Nanette’s collection makes me look forward to emerging with color next spring.

Princess Raspberry by JeannieRichard, $20
Princess Raspberry is pretty and bold!
She loves outdoors and is not afraid to engage in a little skinny-dipping on impromptu (yes! you can go swimming with her, tried and tested by stylist extraordinaire Amanda Irel of www.thesensiblestyle.com), roll around the meadow deliriously, sleep under the stars contemplatively, and return home like a princess all cleaned up, without anyone knowing of her secret adventures.

Two of the things I love most about summer are new beaded jewelry and music festivals, so I was super stoked to receive a package from JeannieRichard just days before going to Warped Tour to see my favorite bands play.
My obsession with JeannieRichard jewelry is not new or unknown to most, so it’s no surprise that I am just in love with their new summer line! Expanding their line beyond sophisticated earrings and gorgeous rings, JeannieRichard released a line of beaded cord bracelets, made to fit any size wrist. In solid, striped, glittered, and tribal, there’s a design everyone is sure to like. And the beautiful packaging makes the jewelry a great gift too.
My sister and I loved checking out the bands at this weekend’s Warped Tour, decked out in our new JeannieRichard pieces.
